Where do you find comfort when you are overwhelmed?
For me it’s God 🙂
Sometimes friends. Yoga. Meditation. Nature. Letting myself cry. Music I find soothing. Art projects. Playing guitar. Swimming. How about you?
Having trouble coming up healthy methods at the moment, so I thought I’d ask around. Normally: the animals, music, art… right now none of that seems to be working.
That’s tough. You have a lot going on. Often I try to do the very most simple task that doesn’t feel overwhelming and that helps me get started and forget the overwhelm long enough to get more done.
I’ve learned a great deal on my journey about mindfulness and being present in all of my experiences. Meditation and breathing helps, as well as focusing on my spiritual beliefs.
